For Bonira

Bonira and I flew high above the sky, soaring just under the sun in the pale blue sky. I looked at her tricolour fur being blown backwards by the breeze, she loved flying and I loved it too, especially since it meant there was no way Nikolai could intrude on us.

Bonira looked at me with gorgeous brown eyes, then something made her look down suddenly and she dove steeply down
"Bonira? Where are you going?"
I called out, Bonira was already afew miles below me and I quickly dove after her.

Bonira flew co-ordinately through the forest trees, turning sharply past tree branches, I landed by her side and looked at her puzzled
"Why did you fly down here Bonira?"
I asked her, Bonira kept facing ahead but her eyes looked at me
"This is where I grew up"
Bonira said and she took afew steps foward
"It is a beautiful place"
I replied, looking around at the trees, afew golden rays filtered down in a small clearing the place smelled faintly of lavander, I turned towards where Bonira had walked to, I saw her tail disappear behind a wall of rocks, I jumped up them and Bonira was standing infront of me, looking at a cave, unmoving, the cave had lavander growing in its entrance, the scent filled the air.

I walked quietly to Bonira's side, Bonira leaned her head on my shoulder, I put my wing around her and looked down at her face, I wanted to kiss her, but I just couldn't.
Nikolai did. And he bragged about it. Alot. If I kissed her he'd have nothing to brag about. Bonira wrapped her tail around mine bringing me out of my thoughts and back into reality.

No, I'm not some mass murder womaniser like Nikolai. I'll be ready when Bonira is.

Bonira kept looking ahead of her, like she was in some kind of trance,
"All my memories of this place"
Bonira said quietly, I heard something walking about behind us, it was larger than a rabbit, Bonira was too on her old home focused to hear it.

"It was so scary at first...being able to turn from wolf to human just like that..was weird.."
Bonira said
"Do you wish you still lived on Earth?"
I asked her
"Sometimes..but not often I like this place.."
Bonira replied and then she lifted her head to look up at me
"Since I have great friends like you"
Bonira added.

Friend. Ouch.  

"Aren't..we more than friends?"
I asked, slightly annoyed by what she just said
"Do you want to be more than friends then?
Bonira asked smiling alittle
"Yes"
I replied

A black and white Volkuly jumped over the rock wall and I snapped my head around to glare at the intruder, the Volkuly looked at me with a faint sly smile and then Bonira looked at the Volkuly too and his smurk disappeared.  

"Am I missing out?"
Nikolai said
"No. Leave us alone Nikolai"
I said growling quietly
"It's ok Nikhil he can stay with us"
Bonira said, I was quiet
"Please?"
Bonira pleaded and she licked my muzzle, I heard Nikolai growl in the background.

"Ok"
I said, Nikolai walked up besides me and smacked his tail on my leg
"So what are two doing?"
Nikolai asked
"I found my old den I'd forgetten all about it until now"
Bonira said and she looked at her den, Nikolai followed her glance
"That's a nice den..nicer than mine"
Nikolai said
"Aww I've never seen your den I should see it sometime"
Bonira said and giggled
"You'd drown before you'd reach it its afew miles underwater"
Nikolai said and laughed quietly
"Hey Boni-"
Nikolai said and was cut off by shouting overhead.

"Hey Bonira! It's Mum's birthday tommorrow! I need to get her something! Help me out here! You owe me from that time you were to lazy to go hunting and I hunted for you! I can tell mum and dad it was me who hunted and not you because you couldn't be bothered!"
The voice shouted out, it was coming from Bonira's brother called Silas who I met afew times, we never really got along since we are so different, Bonira closed her eyes and pinned back her ears and blushed in what I guessed was embarrassment.

"Ok Silas! I'm coming in afew minutes!"
Bonira said with her head pointing towards her brother
"Sorry guys I-"
Bonira said but was cut off
"Not afew minutes NOW Bonira! Mum will be so pissed if I don't get her something! You know what she likes! Get your butt up here!"
Silas shouted out, I'm suprised with a voice like his that he didn't cause an avalanche, Bonira looked at me and Nikolai and then flew up into the sky with her brother and the pair flew out of sight.    

Nikolai looked at me with the smug look he knew I hated.
"There is no way in hell your ever gonna do Bonira"
Nikolai said grinning
"What makes you think you will Nikolai?"
I replied, his words didn't mean anything to me
"Everything. I'm not the womaniser"
I replied, staring ahead at Nikolai blankly
"I may be many things but I'm not a womaniser"
Nikolai said glaring right at me
"You are no good for her"
I said and tensed up a little.

"You know what? Fuck you Nikhil! you can just keep saying all these things about me but what makes you so great?"
Nikolai replied growling quietly, I think he was trying not to make this escalate into a fight
"I do not even need to bother answering that"
I said and growled at Nikolai
"I love Bonira, to Bonira your just a friend, I heard that"
Nikolai replied
"You fucking stalk her!"
I shouted and bared my teeth

"No, I wanted to see her and when I found her you were with her so I had the decency to leave you two alone"
Nikolai replied and his eyes narrowed
"Until you were going to kiss her...fuck it hurts to say it"
Nikolai said and snarled at me
"You can't deal with the fact that Bonira and me are together"
I said and took a step towards him
"You haven't even kissed her! How can you say that when you haven't even-"
Nikolai shouted, I've had enough of Nikolai talking
"I've had enough Nikolai! I was going to kiss her! You had to come in and ruin it! You ruin everything!"
I shouted and jumped at Nikolai.

"I'll fight for Bonira Nikhil. And I'll fucking win!"
Nikolai said and then threw himself at me and bit down on my neck, something warm and thick dripped down my neck, my blood, in the same moment I snapped my head round and bit down on Nikolai and blood dripped down his side.

We both held onto eachother, biting down harder and harder, our teeth sinking in deeper and deeper.

An incredible pain came from my neck, Nikolai could kill me if he bit down any harder, I couldn't shake him off, I bit down harder and got a good hold on Nikolai and used my strength to swing him round and throw him into the cave rocks, he landed hard on the floor, I couldn't tell if he was breathing of not his flank was completely ripped open.

I panted and more pain shot along my neck, I took a step foward and my paw fell in a pool of blood, I panted more I felt so dizzy, I took afew more steps foward and my vision spiralled around.

I saw Nikolai's ear move, I thought it did anyways, I couldn't tell anymore,
I saw him lying in a blood of his own blood, blood splattered where I had thrown him.

My legs wobbled and my back legs just gave in, I dragged myself towards Nikolai, I might have hated him but I didn't want him to die no matter how much I thought it, the pain spread from my neck to all over, I hit the floor hard from the pain, I saw red blood pool around me, I think I heard Nikolai say something in his unintelligible language, all my senses were blocked by the searing pain all over my body.    

The smell of blood mixed with lavander from around the cave, as my eyes closed I heard voices..
Bonira and Halone...
then Nikolai's voice..
"you can just keep saying all these things about me but what makes you so great?"
I felt my eyes close and the voices faded out and were replaced by whiteness.
